MTN GM Regional Sales Job Vacancy in Ghana

Job Summary
� To lead the Consumer Sales team to develop and meet strategic sales objectives
and targets in the entire region (4-5 political regions in Ghana). Lead and advice on
overall Sales Strategy for indirect sales against overall marketing strategy
� Manage and control budgets of Regional Sales, ensuring efficiencies in planning
of the budgets to meet the requirements of Sales & Distribution
� Direct and oversee effective execution of tactical and operational segments of the
sales plans for all products and services within Regions nationwide
� Maintain effective, on-going communication with Sales and Distribution Executive,
Executive Management and all sales team
� Maintain a high level of morale and proficiency among all team members

Job Role
� Responsible for regional distribution management and strategies to expand
distribution coverage sustainably including third party retail distribution
� Lead the formulation of regional strategies to stretch MTN�s leadership and
champion the fine execution of same
� Co-ordinate and ensure the effective running of overall MTN business in the
region to achieve quarterly commercial and operational plans
� Maintain professional working relationship with management, field and cross
functional personnel, as well as customers and industry partners
� Influence and direct sales strategy, and responsible for achieving regional sales
� Direct and oversee the delivery of MTN field capability and tactics nationwide
� Set goals and objectives for direct reports, monitor progress and maintain
� Accountable for Regional Sales Budget
� Ensure compliance with MTN Policies and procedures
� Provide monthly reports on regional sales nationwide
� Coach, mentor and determine training/development needs
� Develop sales training plans for staff and contribute to the performance objective
setting process
� Provide the necessary general managerial leadership (ability to communicate
vision and direction, emotionally intelligent, respect, engage and develop others
and live the MTN Values) to team through the needed people interventions

Job Qualification Requirements
Min Education Level : Masters Degree
Work Experience : More than 10 years

Qualifications : Educational Requirements
� Possess at least a 1st degree/MBA. 10 years outstanding performance in field sales
management, large scale distribution management and design in any FMCG or
Telecom Industry Degree / MBA a plus

� Financial literacy
� IT literacy
